PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – After a tremendous response to its first Elite Prospect ID Camp in June, Penn Wrestling is preparing to welcome another talented group of high school wrestlers to campus on Friday, July 24, for a full day of elite instruction, competition, and evaluation.
The first Elite Prospect ID Camp on June 26th exceeded expectations, bringing together motivated student-athletes from across the country for a day of high-level technical instruction and live training. Campers sharpened their skills, experienced the pace and intensity of a Division I wrestling room, and gained valuable insight into what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.
Now, with the second session rapidly approaching, registration is filling quickly.
At Penn Wrestling, developing complete student-athletes extends beyond the college roster. The Elite Prospect ID Camp is designed for wrestlers who aspire to compete at the NCAA level and want firsthand experience training with one of the nation’s top Division I programs.
Throughout the day, campers will receive instruction from Penn Wrestling’s coaching staff alongside NCAA Champions, All-Americans, and NCAA National Qualifiers. Every session is built to challenge athletes technically, mentally, and physically while providing meaningful feedback in a competitive environment.
More than just another summer camp, the Elite Prospect ID Camp gives prospective student-athletes an opportunity to experience the culture that has made Penn Wrestling one of the nation’s more respected programs. Campers will learn advanced technique, compete in live situations, and interact with coaches who understand what it takes to succeed both on the mat and in the classroom.
For wrestlers serious about competing at the next level, the camp also offers an invaluable opportunity to be evaluated by the Penn Wrestling staff while gaining exposure to the expectations of an Ivy League student-athlete. With spots becoming increasingly limited, interested wrestlers are encouraged to register soon to secure their place in the July 24th session.
